Insulation Australasia (IA) welcomes organisations across the insulation supply chain in Australia and New Zealand to join a unified industry voice committed to quality, safety, compliance, and energy‑efficiency excellence.
Membership is open to organisations that meet the eligibility requirements set out in the IA Constitution, including appropriate third‑party certification and a demonstrated commitment to industry standards.
Eligibility Requirements
To ensure the integrity and professionalism of the industry, membership acceptance requires evidence of one of the following:
- For Manufacturers, Importers, Wholesalers, Retailers, Material Suppliers & Machinery Suppliers: Third‑party product certification from an IA‑recognised, accredited certification body.
- For Installer Organisations: Accredited installer training from an IA‑recognised training provider.

Membership Categories
Insulation Australasia offers two membership levels, aligned to the IA Constitution’s Corporate (Voting) and Associate (Non‑Voting) classes.
1. Corporate Membership
Annual Fee: $20,000 + GST
(For insulation manufacturers, installers, wholesalers, importers, machinery suppliers, retailers, and material suppliers.)
Corporate Members are Voting Members under the IA Constitution and must be incorporated organisations.
Corporate Member Entitlements
- Voting Rights at general meetings (subject to meeting constitutional criteria such as third‑party certification and external auditing where required)
- Eligible to appoint representatives to IA subcommittees
- Industry recognition:
- Logo listed on the IA website with link to your company homepage
- Permission to use the IA Member Logo on packaging and promotional materials
- Event Benefits:
- 50% discount on IA events (unlimited tickets)
- Participation in IA activities:
- Opportunity to contribute to product standards development
- Access to government representation and advocacy efforts
- Regular industry updates and technical information
2. Affiliate Membership
Annual Fee: $5,000 + GST
(For industry associations, government bodies, international trade organisations, research institutions, and other non‑commercial industry participants.)
Affiliate Members are Non‑Voting Members under the IA Constitution.
Affiliate Member Entitlements
- Organisation name or logo listed on the IA website
- 50% discount on IA events (unlimited tickets)
- Right to appoint an observer to selected IA subcommittees
- Full access to IA communications, updates, and industry resources
- Participation in industry forums, working groups, and knowledge‑sharing activities
