Membership acceptance is conditional on demonstrating 3rd party product certification from an IA recognized accredited certification body for manufacturers OR accredited training from an IA recognised training body for installer organisations.

Membership Fees and Entitlements

The Board of Insulation Australasia invites all insulation manufacturers, wholesalers, importers, fabricators and installers active in the Australian and New Zealand markets to apply to join Insulation Australasia.

As a member, you will enjoy the benefits of industry representation on Product Standards Development, representation to Government on issues affecting industry and regular updates on insulation industry matters that affect you and your business.

Insulation Australasia has two membership categories details of which along with the fees and entitlements for each are contained below.

1. Corporate Membership– For manufacturers, distributors, certification and installer companies. Members must be incorporated companies with annual turnover of greater than $500,000 (no sole traders).
2. Associate Membership– For industry associations and Local/State and Federal Government Departments and international trade organisations.

Corporate Membership Fee Structure

For manufacturers, distributors, certification and installer companies. Members must be incorporated companies with annual turnover of greater than $500,000 (no sole traders).

Category 1 – Companies with an annual turnover greater than $40 million

Member Package:

• Logo Listed on Website with Link to Corporate Home Page
• Use of the IA Member Logo on Packaging and Promotional Material
• 50% Discount when attending events – unlimited tickets
• 4 Votes at a subcommittee level or AGM
• Right to appoint representatives on more than one subcommittee where an active market presence can be demonstrated.

Annual Fee: $20,000 + GST
Application Fee: $250

Category 2 – Companies with an annual turnover greater than $20 million but less than $39.9 million

Member Package:

• Logo Listed on Website with Link to Corporate Home Page
• Use of the IA Member Logo on Packaging and Promotional Material
• 50% Discount when attending events – unlimited tickets
• 3 Votes at a subcommittee level or AGM
• Right to appoint representatives on more than one subcommittee where an active market presence can be demonstrated.

Annual Fee: $10,000 + GST
Application Fee: $250

Category 3 – Companies with an annual turnover greater than $10 million but less than $19.9 million

Member Package:

• Logo Listed on Website with Link to Corporate Home Page
• Use of the IA Member Logo on Packaging and Promotional Material
• 50% Discount when attending events – unlimited tickets
• 3 Votes at a subcommittee level or AGM
• Right to appoint representatives on more than one subcommittee where an active market presence can be demonstrated.

Annual Fee: $5,000 + GST
Application Fee: $250

Category 4 – Companies with an annual turnover Greater than $5 million but less than $9.9 million

Member Package:

• Name Listed on Website with Link to Corporate Home Page
• Use of the IA Member Logo on Packaging and Promotional Material
• 50% Discount when attending events – unlimited tickets
• 2 Votes at a subcommittee level or AGM
• Right to appoint representatives on more than one subcommittee where an active market presence can be demonstrated.

Annual Fee: $3,000 + GST
Application Fee: $250

Category 5 – Companies with an annual turnover less than $5 million

Member Package:

• Corporate Name Listed on Website
• Use of the IA Member Logo on Packaging & Promotional Material
• 50% Discount when attending events – unlimited tickets
• 1 Votes at a subcommittee level or AGM
• Right to appoint representatives on more than one subcommittee where an active market presence can be demonstrated.

Annual Fee: $1,000 + GST
Application Fee: $150

Associate Membership

For industry associations and Local/State and Federal Government Departments and international trade organisations.

Government Organisations – Local, State or Federal Government

Government Member Package:

• Logo Listed on Website with Link to Home Page
• 50% Discount when attending events – unlimited tickets
• Right to appoint an observer on a subcommittee.
  

Annual Fee: $250 + GST or Nil if Association Membership is reciprocated

Australian/New Zealand Trade Association Member Package

• Logo Listed on Website
• 50% Discount when attending events – unlimited tickets
• Right to appoint an observer on a subcommittee.
  

Annual Fee: $250 + GST (with the same fee expected to be reciprocated)
Application Fee: NA

International Trade Associations – International Insulation Trade Association

International Trade Association Member Package:

• Logo Listed on Website with Link to Home Page
• 50% Discount when attending events – unlimited tickets
